This May 31 - June 2 sea kayaking trip is open to all scouts aged 14 or older and have completed the rank of First Class or above. Any scouts who will be graduating 8^th grade this year and are First Class or above are also welcome. This trip will involve sea kayaking on a protected inlet for the majority of the trip. However, part of the route is more open to winds and current and will require upper body strength to safely navigate. read more ...

This canoe trip is for all scouts aged 13 and below. If the sea kayaking trip for the older scouts does not work out, then this trip will be opened up to older scouts.
We will be camping at Camp Cachalot, located in Plymouth, MA. Camp Cachalot is located on 880 acres of forest in Myles Standish State Forest. There will be ample opportunities for canoeing on Five Mile Pond. There are also opportunities for mountain biking and hiking in Myles Standish State Forest and fishing in the ponds located in camp. read more ...

Dylan Rolfe is the Troop 540 Librarian.  Summer camp is coming and it's lots of fun!  But it can be expensive too.  So don't go out to the store to buy all the Merit Badge Books.  Just see Dylan at the troop meetings or campouts.
