4/30/ Elks Club Pavilion Cleanup
All hands on deck! The annual spring cleanup at the Elk's Club Pavilion is scheduled for Saturday April 30th.  We start promptly at 9 am until we are done (normally around Noon or 1 pm).  The more  Scouts and adults - the faster we finish.  This is a great opportunity for scouts to earn service hours for their next rank! read more ...

5/1 Tyler Rihm Eagle Project
Tyler Rihm’s Eagle Project is to build bunk-beds and single beds for military veterans on the Lakota Sioux reservation in South Dakota. This project benefits the Hawkwing organization, which is located here in Glastonbury. Tyler is under a tight deadline, so please come out to help him! read more ...

5/7 Welles Turner Memorial Library Book Sale
The Friends of Welles Turner Library have requested assistance from us to support their Spring Book Sale on Saturday, May 7th. Service hours will be available for this event and there may even be donuts supplied by Scoutmaster Rihm! Please come out and support the Library! read more ...

5/13 - 5/15 Mt Monandnock Campout
Mt. Monadnock is 3,165 ft in elevation and is listed as a National Natural Landmark.  It has been captured in the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. Come on this campout and see what these famous writers saw. read more ...

6/3 - 6/5 Aquapaug Canoe Campout
This canoe trip is for all scouts aged 13 and below. There is an opportunity for hiking at Yawgoog Scout Reservation nearby. This is also a great opportunity to work on outdoor skills and advancement. read more ...

6/3 - 6/5 Sea Kayaking Trip (14 and older)
This sea kayaking trip is open to all scouts aged 14 or older and have completed the rank of First Class or above. The trip will involve kayaking out to a sand bar for lunch and lounging around, followed by the return trip to shore. This will be a full day of kayaking. read more ...

8/16 - Archaeologist for a Day! (Registration 2/22-3/22)

Scouts, you are invited to be an Archaeologist for a Day!  What an incredible opportunity right here in South Glastonbury!  Registration is VERY limited!!!!  The event is August 16th.  Registration is February 22-March 22.  Please see the Troop calendar for registration information!!
