 About Troop 540 Minimize

Troop 540 in Glastonbury, CT is part of the Hockanum River District of the Connecticut Rivers Council and is pleased to be sponsored by the Exchange Club of Glastonbury.   The Exchange Club of Glastonbury, Inc. is a service organization founded in 1941 and dedicated to building a better Glastonbury community.

Troop 540 is well established and has been active for over 25 years. Some of the leaders of the Troop today were once Scouts in the Troop.

Troop 540 participates in a lot of different activities, such as camping, canoeing, skiing, hiking, etc.  In addition, special high-adventure activities are offered to places like Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and Sea Base in Florida.  Through the many varied and exciting activities, Troop 540 has produced many, many Eagle Scouts.  The Troop has a well established program for advancement and there are many opportunities for all Scouts.  See some of our photos below.
